Assessing pediatric as well as adult patients of both malignant and non malignant conditions, performing relevant procedures independently including Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy in adults and older children (>12 years of age). Examining peripheral smears and bone marrow aspiration/biopsy slides. Involving in discussions about flowcytometry, engaging with radiologists/nuclear medicine department for understanding investigations like CT scans, MRI scans and PET SCAN. Making and understanding of Chemo-protocols under supervision, along with targeted therapy and Immunotherapy. I have been closely involved in Chemotherapy Prescription, Chemotherapy preparation and administration. I have also assisted in and independently performed intrathecal chemotherapy administration. I have experience in bone marrow harvest under supervision. Managed neutropenic sepsis independently. Participated in bone marrow transplantation meetings for management planning of patients including induction chemotherapies and transplantation. Been a part of numerous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, specifically Haploidentical transplants, Autologous and MSD (Matched Sibling Donor), extending to both malignant and non-malignant conditions. I actively observed donor selection, pre-transplant assessment of patient and donor, administration of conditioning protocols, GvHD (Graft-versus-Host Disease) prophylaxis. Keenly participated in observing apheresis procedures including granulocytopheresis, Peripheral Blood Stem Cells collection, lymphopheresis as well as plasmapheresis. I have also performed cryopreservation under supervision. I have also participated in cellular therapies which included NK cell therapy in refractory leukemias and myeloma patients following Autologous transplant. I was also a part of long term follow up clinic (integrated into the department) which included regular and milestone follow ups.
