Refund Policy

Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which Keynoverse Technology FZ LLC and Keynoverse Limited (“Keynoverse”, “we”, “our”, “us”) will issue refunds for purchases made through keynoverse.tech or our affiliated platforms. We aim to provide clarity, fairness, and transparency to our customers in accordance with best practices and payment gateway compliance requirements.

2. Scope & Definitions

  • This policy applies to all payments made for:
    • Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscriptions
    • Digital products, downloadable content, and licenses
    • Bookings, events, and time-based services
    • Professional services (consulting, development, training, onboarding, and support)
  • “User” or “Customer” refers to any person or entity purchasing or subscribing to Keynoverse products or services.

3. General Refund Principles

  • Refunds are only available for payments made directly to Keynoverse or through our official platforms.
  • Refunds are generally credited to the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary due to bank/payment provider timelines.
  • Transaction fees and/or payment gateway charges are typically non-refundable unless required by law.

4. Eligibility for Refunds

  • 4.1 SaaS & Subscription Services
    • First-time Purchases: Users may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the service has not been actively used or accessed (no logins or downloads).
    • Monthly Subscriptions: Cancellable at any time. Refunds for the unused portion of the month are not generally provided, except for technical failures or service disruptions caused by Keynoverse.
    • Annual Subscriptions: Pro-rata refunds are available within 30 days of purchase, minus any consumed portion and fees for used services.
    • Renewals: No refunds for renewal payments once processed, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
  • 4.2 Bookings & Events
    • Cancellations 48+ hours in advance: Eligible for full refund minus any applicable processing fees.
    • Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance: Partial refunds (up to 50%) at Keynoverse’s discretion.
    • No-shows or post-event requests: Not eligible for refund unless service was not rendered due to a proven error or cancellation by Keynoverse.
  • 4.3 Digital Products & Downloadables
    • Refunds will not be issued for digital products or downloadable content once access or download has occurred, except where the product is defective, not as described, or otherwise protected by mandatory consumer laws.
  • 4.4 Professional Services (Consulting, Training, Custom Development)
    • Refunds for professional services will be considered only if the engagement has not started or in the event of non-performance attributable to Keynoverse.
    • If a project is terminated early by mutual agreement, a pro-rata refund for unused and unbilled work may be issued.

5. Non-Refundable Payments

  • Transaction or processing fees charged by banks or payment gateways
  • Services already delivered or accessed
  • Custom development and consulting services where deliverables have been provided
  • Fees paid for compliance, documentation, or regulatory services

6. Refund Request Process

  • Submit a written request via email to accounts@keynoverse.tech or sales@keynoverse.tech.
  • Include your full name, email, order or invoice number, purchase date, and a detailed explanation of the refund reason.
  • Attach any supporting documentation (e.g., payment receipt, screenshots).

Review Timeline:
We will acknowledge your refund request within 3 business days and complete the review within 7 business days. Additional documentation may be requested for complex cases.

Refund Approval:
If approved, refunds will be processed promptly to the original payment method. Actual receipt may take 7–14 business days depending on your bank or card provider.

7. Disputed Charges & Chargebacks

We encourage users to contact us directly with any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unjustified chargebacks, fraudulent claims, or failure to follow our dispute procedure may result in account suspension, legal action, or refusal of future services.

8. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

  • Technical Failures: If you are unable to access a service due to verified technical failure caused by Keynoverse, a full or partial refund may be offered at our discretion.
  • Service Unavailability: If an event, booking, or service is cancelled by Keynoverse, users will be eligible for a full refund or the option to reschedule.
  • Local Law Compliance: If local or international consumer protection laws mandate additional rights, we will comply as required.

9. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time to reflect service changes, business practices, or regulatory requirements. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
